About a month ago, I started combing newspapers and online ads for a kitten. I really enjoyed having cats before the boys were born, and had recently started wanting a cat again. I first put in an application for a cute black kitten at Petsmart, but disappointingly never got a call from the agency that runs the cat adoption center there. Just as I was about to call them to see what was up, I found an ad on Craigslist for two gray and white 10-week-old twin brothers. Now, two kittens weren’t exactly part of the original plan, but these two had been together since birth and the owner really wanted to see them adopted together. So, how could I resist?!? I emailed about the ad and received a phone call within the hour. After a 15-minute conversation, I was told the little boys would be ours! Sammy and Mikey arrived Sunday morning and have been having a blast with us ever since!
This is Sammy…he has a diamond on his nose:

Two more of Sammy:

And heeere’s Mikey!

Mikey again:

Just what I needed…two more boys who act like this!

And what kitten doesn’t enjoy chasing a laser pen light around?!?

The biggest problem with Sammy and Mikey is telling them apart. Sammy has the diamond on his nose while Mikey has a thick stripe on his nose, but when they are facing away they look EXACTLY alike. I guess it’s not enough that I have identical twin nieces to confuse me, I had to go and adopt twin kittens too!
